2001-11-07 - 8:48 p.m. Now playing: the third movement of Beethoven's ninth symphony. =============== So now I'm selfish for claiming my portion of the benefits of Grampa's life insurance policies and not giving them all to Dad like we had agreed in August. Well, the situation has changed. We know now that Part A of the trust will be fully funded, so Dad's part will be taken care of. Anything over that will flow into Part B for us kids. So, why wait? I need money now. But, I'm selfish, even though I will be giving some of the benefits I do get to Dad. I wish I didn't consider my sister Karen's opinion of me so important.
