Owls were symbols of Pallas Athena, symbols of her wisdom. I'm not comfortable with a decades-long ill-defined war. I certainly don't like the new Cabinet office of "Office of Homeland Security." What nimrod thought of that name? Plus...that office, I sense, could rapidly morph into evil state police, accountable to no one. *shudder* I hope Congress and the courts keep a close eye on that.
