Emile died last night. Got a message from Granny on my voice mail at work this morning at 10:30. Poor dear. I don't know what she's going to do. I don't know if she can afford to keep up her house without his help; I don't know if she'll have the desire to keep on living. She's scrappy, though - so who knows.

I'm hoping I can weather the influx of the Vermonsters. I'm sure they'll be coming down for whatever wake/funeral there will be, unless of course Emile's family decides they don't want Granny's relatives there. I never got quite a handle on how they felt about the two of them. *shrug*

Other than that, an okay day. Had lunch at Stephanie's - they're moving to Gloucester next week. I can't believe they got their asking price of 180K for their house. It's in Holyoke, for cripes' sake! Granted, they put a lot of work into it..but...damn.
