Free at last, free at last, thank God almighty, I'm free at last.

I'm exhausted from my trip. I worked at cleaning and unpacking at Karen's cottage all day. Did nothing for fun, saw no sights, and was not touristy. The few times I got out of the house were either to the hardware store or for food. I did get to have 4 hours away for dinner with Dad - that was the only away time I had.

I was glad to go, and we made a lot of progress, but she needs about another two weeks of diligent effort to fully clean, unpack, and get settled. I sure hope the people in her life can step up, but since they hadn't before I got there, I don't have high hopes. :(

BUT IT'S SO GOOD TO BE HOME.

(Ellen and Amanda, I should have let you know I had a two-hour layover at Dulles yesterday. Sorry I didn't.)
