I have to get up at 4:30 so that I can pick Mom up at 5:30 and bring her to the airport. Fun, fun. Then I get to go to work! Yay me! Consequently, it's bed EARLY for me tonight.

My plan is to leave work early (since I'll be going in early) and come home and nap for a little while before Kate, Kevin, and Nikki show up. I can't believe they want to celebrate my birthday NOW (it's 10/30)because they'll all be busy. Well, Nikki and Kevin (they of the Precious Moments invitations) are getting married on 10/21, so I guess they have a valid excuse.

And speaking of work, today one of the programmers told me she gave her notice this morning. She's worked there since March, and has been unhappy the entire time. The clue phone has been ringing for my boss now for 8 years...the turnover rate is amazing. One would think they'd try to solve the problem of zero percent retention.

Now I'm all discouraged. Feh. Well, I guess that's all for tonight.
