2001-08-02 - 11:29 p.m. Karen's home. Spent 3 hours at Reeds Landing tonight with her, Melanie, and Dad at Grampa's old apartment talking about what to do with all his stuff. Grampa is in the hospital, originally for a swollen ankle..which led to them finding a big blood clot in his leg...which led to them discovering that he had another heart attack in the past five days. This is not good. We don't know if he'll ever return to Reeds Landing. Maybe I can visit him at the hospital tomorrow afternoon, presuming I get my car fixed and have some time before Auntie Val is set to arrive. Previous <=> Next
